Hi Linda, I had a great race at Ironman Lake Placid yesterday, and I'm thrilled about my 8th place finish. Ironman Lake Placid was designated as the "North American Ironman Championships" (for the men's professional division, anyway), and I was the top US finisher (and 3rd North American, behind a couple Canadians). I earned some prize money and a qualifiying spot for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. Nearly everyone who finished in the top-10 here has won an Ironman before, so it was one of the most competitive fields I've ever competed in. It was the first time I raced an Ironman and everything went right for me: I paced myself perfectly, got the nutrition just right, and I had no back pain! The NeverReach system was an important part of my nutrition/hydration strategy for the race, and it worked great! Being able to drink without having to reach for a bottle made it very easy to get enough liquids into my body during the race. Thanks so much for your support! Thanks, Paul
